Apple will release 16 versions of their iPad Mini, including memory, colour and network options.

That is according to Mobile Geeks, who claims German electronics retailer Media Markt has the product in 16 flavors in its inventory system.

The inventory apparently shows the tablet available at 8, 16, 32 and 64GB configurations, coming in either black or white with a choice of 3G or Wi-Fi connectivity.

Prices range from for Wi-Fi range from NZ$395* for an 8G model, 16GB at $555, $710 for a 32GB version and $870 for 64GB of storage, with an extra $160 expected for 3G versions.

Apple ordered 10 million iPad Minis from Asian suppliers last week, which is more than double as many products as Amazon’s lower-priced Kindle Fire.

The tech giant is expected to release the iPad Mini this month, as the internet speculates on the key features the device will encompass.
