FYI, this story is more than a year old

Unified Communications (UC) provider Polycom has appointed a new regional manager for its New Zealand business, signalling its intentions to carry on its momentum in what it says is a growing market.

The new manager is Deane Jessep, most recently national enterprise solutions manager for Huawei, who says New Zealand is entering a new era of connectivity, driven by the Rural Broadband Initiative (RBI) and Ultra Fast Broadband (UFB) projects.

"I am looking forward to building on the great work achieved to date by working with local service providers, our channel partners, and customers to take the New Zealand business to the next level,” Jessep says.

Jessep has also held roles at Vodafone and GC Technologies, as well as running his own technology business. He replaces former NZ director of sales for Polycom, Darryn Keiller.
