Acronis solutions are now available in Australia and New Zealand. Acronis Access 7 is for small and midsize businesses (SMB) and Acronis Access Advanced suits enterprises.
Acronis says mobile devices are changing the way SMB organisations do business and have become an integral work environment component.
According to the SMB Group, 67% of SMEs view mobile solutions and services as critical to their business and 83% have deployed mobile apps to help improve employee productivity.
Acronis Access 7 was designed specifically for SMBs. Acronis says it is the easiest mobile file access, sync and share solution to buy, use and administer.
The on-premise solutions offer data control and security from any device, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs and Macs.
Employees can securely share data internally and externally and company data and digital assets are not put at risk.
This enables employees to work on the go and collaborate, says Acronis. For instance, employees can securely access and edit company documents when travelling or share updated financial spreadsheets or presentations with colleagues, customers, partners or prospects.
Acronis Access solutions use existing customer data and infrastructure to eliminate the need for migration.
“Acronis Access serves as a secure alternative to cloud solutions and allows sensitive business content to remain on premises and be shared under IT control,” says Terri McClure, ESG senior analyst.
“SMB organisations that can’t afford more in-depth and complex mobile device management capabilities will appreciate having built-in core functionality,” he says.
Acronis Access Advanced is the version that supports enterprise requirements. It provides IT administrators active directory integration; granular management capabilities for security policies, content control and compliance; an audit log; certified encryption, and enhanced authentication.
The Access Advanced solution can scale to any number of users and support unlimited access servers. This product integrates with mobile device management solutions.
Acronis Access 7 starts at $73.64NSD per user for 25 users and $48.98NZD for 100 users, including one year of support. Acronis Access Advanced 7 starts at $215.87NZD per user for 1-250 users.
