FYI, this story is more than a year old

Cartology has selected ADvendio to help power its national omnichannel retail media ecosystem in Australia in a landmark retail technology deal.

The deal will enhance Cartology's trademark standing as one of Australia's largest retail media businesses powered by the Woolworths Group.

Woolworths Group currently has over 1,400 stores across Australia and New Zealand, and Cartology service connects brands to customers across the Woolworths ecosystem using targeted omnichannel solutions across a broad advertising portfolio of products and services.

Included in the ecosystem and portfolio are systems such as point of sale, digital in-store, in-store radio, digital online, and print.

Cartology has engaged the services of ADvendio to improve its inventory and order management processes through automation. This, in turn, will enable the flexible management of the Cartology omnichannel ecosystem.

Using ADvendios Connect and Finance modules, new technology will help automate the management of Cartology campaigns, delivery data, and associated financial processes.

ADvendio account manager Angus Dowie says there are many opportunities for growth in the retail sector at the moment with the implementation of new technological innovations.

"At what is a very exciting time for retail media, the partnership with ADvendio will provide Cartology with a great platform for the ongoing growth the company is poised for. Our solutions will enable improved processes for Cartology's internal teams and clients," he says.

Cartology's director of operations Chris Rutten says that with the company's rapid expansion, there was a need to find a provider that met all the growth needs while also keeping client satisfaction at its core.

"With the breadth and growth of Cartology across Australia and New Zealand, and a sophisticated client base, we needed a solution which was capable of matching Cartology's business needs and ambition while enhancing our client experience," Rutten says.

"After an extensive process, it became clear that ADvendio was best positioned to partner with Cartology due to their products, retail capabilities, and their unique capacity and scale to manage our use-cases. We look forward to what the next few years will bring our partnership."

ADvendio CEO Bernd Bube summarised, "we are thrilled to be growing our customer base in Australia and to support the growth of companies like Cartology to reach their full potential in the marketplace. We are looking forward to further developing our relationship with Cartology over the coming years."

ADvendio currently services large enterprises and small businesses in more than 25 countries, supported every day from offices located in Ireland, Germany, Chile and the USA.
