Chillisoft has signed up Sophos IT expert, Shirley Wigley (pictured), as Major Accounts Manager to look after the company's enterprise and government interests.

Chillisoft Director Geoff Cossey says Wigley will be focused on extending the company's growth in larger enterprises and government markets as well as working with channel partners wherever possible.

Cossey told The Channel, “I'm very excited Shirley has joined us, she brings another layer of skills and experience to our great team which now numbers 15.

Wigley started work at Chillisoft yesterday and is based in the firm's Mt Eden office in Auckland. She will work across the full range of security solutions which include ESET, Devicelock, and FireID, the South African-developed One Time Password (OTP) generation solution for which Chillisoft recently became the exclusive distributor of in New Zealand.

"FireID fills a very important need in a company's security fabric," said Cossey. "This innovative addition to the security of cloud applications is very well timed. We expect to see strong interest in FireID as the word gets out. We'll need to be directly involved in developing the market in the early stages but expect to recruit more sales and implementation partners soon."
