Digital Commons' media solutions 'off to a flying start'

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Digital Commons, a New Zealand-based digital media startup that provides advertising, has been busy securing some valuable deals since its formation in April 2016. The company has gained exclusive rights to all custom content and amplification rights from social site BuzzFeed, alongside their range of other data, content and social solutions.

The company claims to address the gap between supply and demand of media solutions in the New Zealand market. New Zealand's digital presence is renowned worldwide, but businesses still need access to innovative products and services.

"Digital Commons was born from the idea of being able to bring together best-in-class digital media solutions and making it easy for NZ brands to work with them, with exceptional support and service. And with this run of partnerships and wins we're off to a flying start," says Johanna Cotter, managing partner at Digital Commons.

In addition, the company has partnered with ADARA, a marketing tool that leverages actionable data from more than 100 travel brands.

ADARA Pacific commercial director Stuart Stacy believes the partnership will serve demand for marketing solutions driven by data analytics.

"Introducing such high calibre partnerships is really testament to the fact that international brands want to have a presence in the NZ market but often don't have a business case to set up their own office. That's where we come in," says Lisa Ison, managing partner, Digital Commons.

Digital Commons represents both local and international digital products, advertising and solutions for the New Zealand market. Run by two senior media experts, Lisa Ison and Johanna Cotter, Digital Commons also represents BuzzFeed, ADARA and Garage Entertainment.
