FYI, this story is more than a year old

MYOB has appointed Carolyn Luey as the new head of its Enterprise Solutions division and general manager of the company's New Zealand operations.

Luey explains that it's exciting to be joining a business that has undergone a highly successful transformation, while focusing entirely on the success of local businesses.

“After 25 years as a leader in the local market, MYOB has developed a reputation for high quality innovation, service and investment in home-grown talent,” she says.

“I'm particularly excited to be given the opportunity to work alongside MYOB's highly skilled Kiwi team to help simplify the success of thousands of local businesses - large and small.

MYOB employs more than 300 staff in New Zealand, with offices in both Auckland and Christchurch, including a large team of local designers and developers.

Andrew Birch, general Manager of Industry Solutions at MYOB, says Luey brings an impressive range of experience to the new role.

“Carolyn has worked with some of New Zealand's leading companies, heading the delivery of a wide range of technology and innovation through a period of significant industry transformation,” he explains.

“We're very keen to see her bring her skills and talents to bear on both the success of the New Zealand business and also our fast-growing Enterprise Solutions division.

Luey joins MYOB from NZME, having worked for the organisation and The Radio Network for five years.

She has also worked in a range of leadership and governance roles in Mighty River Power and Telecom.

Based in Auckland, Luey is a member of the New Zealand Asian Leaders advisory board and was an executive committee member of the Radio Broadcasters Association.

She will take up the new role of MYOB General Manager of Enterprise Solutions and New Zealand in January 2017.
