ICONZ name change cracks Asia-Pacific cloud
Tue, 30th Oct 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

ICONZ will now be called ICONZ-Webvisions Limited to create a truly pan Asia-Pacific cloud provider.

The Kiwi firm made the announcement following a decision by majority shareholder Caledonian International Limited to merge the company with it's sister company Webvisions, a well-established Singapore-based managed services and cloud provider.

Newly appointed Group CEO, Poh Mui Hoon, is integrating people, resources, products and processes into a single brand and expanding ICONZ-Webvisions’ footprint throughout Asia Pacific.

The merged company offers a combination of private and public cloud computing services for medium sized organisations with the firm stressing their commitment to delivering secure and reliable solutions won’t change.

For over two decades ICONZ has been one of the industry leaders in hosting, connectivity and cloud company in New Zealand.

The ICONZ Group consists of some of New Zealand’s largest web hosting providers WebFarm, 2day.com and popular domain name registrar Freeparking.

Headquartered in Singapore, Webvisions is Asia’s leading cloud computing and managed services provider, serving over 100,000 accounts in over 40 countries worldwide.

Both companies say the re-branding is effective immediately.
