FYI, this story is more than a year old

Microsoft integrator UCLogiq has achieved Microsoft Gold Partner status for Communications.

UCLogiq principal consultant Scott Maynard says that Gold Partner status strengthens the company's relationship with Microsoft and further validated UCLogiq's capabilities to deliver Microsoft cloud and hybrid solutions to customers.

“We've worked extremely hard to achieve Gold Partner status,” he says.

“And we're proud to be one of a few local technology providers to hold this certification. More than demonstrating our commitment to the market, Gold Partner status proves that we have the technical capabilities, the team, and the vision to help our clients prosper.

Providers must satisfy a number of requirements to attain Gold Partner status, including a specified number of Microsoft-certified employees, customer references, and completed Office 365 projects.

A release from UCLogiq attributes its success and recognition within Microsoft to its focus on delivering consulting, integration, hosting and support services to the growing number of businesses using Office 365, Teams, and Skype for Business.

The company has completed Skype for Business work for blue-chip clients including Fonterra, Queensland Alumina, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and NZ Post.

Late last year unified communications (UC) specialist Pyrios acquired a 30% stake in UCLogiq as part of an alliance offering Microsoft Skype for Business services to clients on both sides of the Tasman.

At the time, Pyrios chief executive officer Robyn O'Reilly said the alliance would further build Pyrios' skills in Microsoft services and integration to support the growing number of businesses using Microsoft Skype for Business as their principal communications platform.

O'Reilly says that Gold Partner status is a boost to the strategic alliance between the two providers.

“The achievement reinforces our excellent joint credentials and capabilities in delivering Microsoft services and integration.

UCLogiq assists organisations with delivering internal deployments and performs peer reviews of recently delivered or under-performing systems.

Able to act on behalf of clients, the company can provide technical expertise and business advice, as well as ensuring the end system is able to meet growth expectations and allowing the customers to move from on-premise to cloud-based solutions at a pace that meets their expectations.
