FYI, this story is more than a year old

ROCPAC International has moved offices, from Mt Wellington, where it shared a building with DHL, to Mangere south of Auckland and just around the corner from Auckland International Airport.

“The move had been on the cards for a considerable length of time, but timing had to be absolutely perfect to ensure minimum disruption to our customers and their operations," said Paul Van Dorp, MD, ROCPAC.

"The move went smoother and with less operational hiccups than was expected and now that we’ve successfully settled into our new home it is all systems go."

ROCPAC who previously partnered with DHL to deliver a Service Delivery model to their major customers Downers, Transfield and Visionstream, recently entered into a partnership with Supply Chain Solutions.

According to Van Dorp, the new agreement will ensure on-going, sustainable savings for its customers, with improved world class service delivery levels, ensuring a win-win outcome for all.

Telecommunications Business Manager Irfaan Mohamed and his team took ownership of the move and spent many 18 hour days between the DHL and SCS warehouses, "but it was all worthwhile" said Mohamed, noting the benefit of having the Customer Services Team in the same building as the Warehouse.

ROCPAC’s new partnership with SCS and its new centrally located warehouse facility, will enable contractors to collect materials directly from the warehouse and further allows for an improved same day delivery service, something that is critical to the success of its customers in today’s fast moving world.
