FYI, this story is more than a year old

Telecommunications specialist, Kordia, has welcomed a new member to its Australian and New Zealand solutions team.

Hamilsh Guild joins the company as the executive general manager for Kordia Solutions and will officially assume the position in January next year.

Prior to this new role, Guild was the executive manager of Networks with Australian solutions provider Visionstream.

Scott Bartlett, CEO of Kordia, says that Guild is highly experienced in both the New Zealand and Australian telecommunications contracting industries.

“Hamish is a proven leader who builds trusted relationships with staff and customers, understands the need for strong operational delivery; and has a track record of delivering for shareholders and customers alike,” he explains.

“With his appointment, Kordia is further positioning itself for consolidation and growth in the key territories and markets in which we operate.

Guild report directly to Bartlett, leading contracting and consulting operations in both the Kordia Solutions New Zealand and Kordia Solutions Australia business units. He will also sit on the executive leadership team.

“This is an exciting position in a company which has proven its delivery capability in competitive markets and which offers several unique value propositions,” says Guild.

“I'm looking forward to starting and becoming a part of the Kordia success story.

Originally from New Zealand, Guild and his family are now Sydney-based and he'll work out of Kordia's Rhodes office – returning to New Zealand every so often for work.
