Hemisphere Technologies, an Australia and New Zealand based distributor of IT security solutions, has announced a new partnership with BeyondTrust, a US-based provider context-aware solutions for privilege and vulnerability management.

Hemisphere Technologies says the partnership brings to the ANZ channel an industry player whose "proven expertise has shaped the security decisions of some of the world’s most sensitive and security-conscious organisations."

BeyondTrust customers include eight of the world's ten largest banks, eight of the world's ten largest aerospace and defence firms, and seven of the ten largest U.S. pharmaceutical companies, as well as renowned universities across the globe.

The number of user-based risks from misuse of system or device privileges is steadily increasing.

So much so Hemisphere Technologies expects BeyondTrust’s experience as the only security solution vendor providing Context-Aware Security Intelligence will "resonate strongly amongst Australian organisations looking to mitigate against these types of attacks."

Hemisphere Technologies has also acknowledged this emerging threat and is providing Australian organisations an opportunity to get ahead of the curve before their systems are breached.

This strategy, says BeyondTrust, corresponds with its own bid to cement its foothold in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
