FYI, this story is more than a year old

Imarda has announced its selection as the preferred supplier for the New Zealand Police Department’s GPS Vehicle Tracking System.

Subject to business case approval, the mobile GPS Vehicle Tracking provider says there is potential for implementation to over 3000 police vehicles across the country as part of the agreement.

After an extensive selection process, valuating 15 vendors to determine the most suitable Telematics solution provider for their requirements, Imarda was selected based on specific criteria.

The evaluation of each vendor looked at areas such as scalability, integration capability into existing business systems, future proofing, flexibility of technology, ability to provide future innovation, and references from existing customers.

"We are delighted to have been selected as the preferred supplier, and welcome the opportunity to work closely with NZ Police should this project be approved," says Selwyn Pellett, Imarda’s CEO.
