Optimation deal to drive Google cloud in NZ
Fri, 20th Jul 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kiwi IT service provider Optimation has partnered with local start-up and Google Enterprise partner Barbador in a bid to drive cloud uptake among kiwi businesses.

The deal will allow Optimation to combine its significant resources with Barbador’s specialist expertise; Optimation boasts over 200 staff in its Auckland and Wellington offices, while Barbador works solely with cloud and solely with Google.

Neil Butler, founder and chairman of Optimation, says the partnership provides ‘an excellent opportunity’ for enterprises to re-think how they use IT.

"As enterprises build their businesses on new cloud platforms such as Google’s, they will need guidance and thought leadership from companies like Optimation and Barbador to assist them on their journey,” Butler says.

Optimation has worked with clients as diverse as IT reseller Exeed, the Ministry of Economic Development, and Vodafone.
