Soltius teams with AWS for dedicated SAP cloud practice

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Soltius is working with Amazon Web Services to build a dedicated SAP cloud practice, expected to launch at the end of this month.

Nick Mulcahy, Soltius chief executive, says the Kiwi SAP practice will leverage its experience and market credibility to build an AWS cloud practice specialising in the migration of SAP environments to the AWS Cloud.

“As the benefits of the cloud continue to grow and, in many cases, out-perform on-premise solutions for some New Zealand businesses, Soltius has decided it's time to move beyond the database level of SAP implementations and provide a dedicated cloud offering,” Mulcahy says.

He says by working with AWS the company can offer an integrated infrastructure layer to provide a more comprehensive solution for customers.

“Having already helped one of our SAP installed customers move from on-premise to the AWS Cloud platform, the new practice is already underway,” Mulcahy says.

The Kiwi company has more than 80 organisations nationwide to which it provides SAP solutions, support and consulting and was the first company in Asia Pacific to be certified as a SAP Centre of Expertise for its support service. The company also has Gold SAP partner status.
