Wynyard signs $2.8m deal with unnamed policing agency
Thu, 11th Feb 2016
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Security software firm Wynyard Group has entered into an agreement with an undisclosed partner to provide a large State policing agency with Wynyard's Advanced Crime Analytics.

According to a statement, the security solution has a minimum total contract value to Wynyard of $2.8 million over the initial three year term and is Wynyard's first deal in the country – which also hasn't been disclosed.

Terms of the deal will see the policing agency use Wynyard's solutions to extend “its intelligence and investigations capabilities to counter terrorism and organised crime,” Wynyard says.

The Auckland-based firm entered a conditional agreement with an unnamed national security bureau back in January, in a deal worth $27 million.

It also partnered with Thailand's Public Anti-Corruption Commission at the end of last month.
