FYI, this story is more than a year old

Zoom has been named as the 2019 Asia-Pacific Cloud Vendor Collaboration Provider of the Year by Frost - Sullivan.

The enterprise video communications firm received the accolade at Frost - Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practice Awards, and says the award demonstrates its 'strong best practice approach' to helping organisations meet their collaboration needs.

“Zoom is pleased to be recognised as the Asia-Pacific Cloud Vendor Collaboration Provider of the Year,” says Michael Chetner, head of Asia Pacific, Zoom Video Communications.

“Zoom's mission is to make video communications frictionless. We provide our clients with best-of-breed services to address their needs and this award is a testament to the outstanding commitment of Zoom's dedicated Asia Pacific team to delivering successful solutions to our partners," he explains.

The Frost - Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practice Awards identify and honour best-of-breed companies that have demonstrated excellence in their respective industries.

The award was determined by Frost - Sullivan analysts who independently judged on key benchmarking criteria: addressing unmet needs, implementation of best practices, financial performance, customer purchase experience, customer service experience and customer ownership experience.

Richard Wong, vice president, Frost - Sullivan, says Zoom continues to demonstrate excellence as a cloud vendor fuelling collaboration for Asia-Pacific organisations.

“This award acknowledges the relentless efforts of Zoom's team and recognises its outstanding performance in 2018," Wong says.

"We hope the award inspires Zoom's Asia-Pacific team to even greater levels of success in 2019.

Zoom continues to expand its services to Asia Pacific organisations in 2019, fostering its growth and access to flexible communication services.

Zoom recently announced the expansion of Zoom Phone to Australia with a beta service launch and general availability expected in July. Zoom has also enhanced its partner programs to continue to grow and support its channels with updated education opportunities, resources and support for partners.
