Reveille Software unveils Sentry for Microsoft Teams monitoring
Wed, 13th Mar 2024

Reveille Software, a vendor of monitoring Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, has announced the launch of Reveille Sentry for Microsoft Teams. This solution provides unrivalled visibility into Microsoft Teams user activity, content sharing, and configuration shifts.

Reveille Sentry for Microsoft Teams is a pioneering response to the complexities of overseeing multiple ECM platforms. Considering that the average organisation incorporates at least four ECM platforms, as stated by the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), this solution is timely. It monitors over 40 Microsoft Teams transactions and extends its functionality to SharePoint and related collaboration solutions that share any ECM repository content.

The unique capabilities of Reveille Sentry for Microsoft Teams consist of operating securely behind the customer firewall, ensuring that sensitive Microsoft 365 access information does not leak to third-party solutions providers. It brings a comprehensive monitoring strategy to the floor, offering out-of-the-box dashboard reports that go beyond SharePoint-focused Microsoft 365 management tools and extend a specialised perspective across various ECM platforms.

The new solution stands out further with its ability to detect unusual Teams activities and seamlessly integrate with Microsoft Defender. This advancement can lead to fast containment of any content access breaches, thereby securing sensitive information.

Brian DeWyer, the CTO and co-founder of Reveille, emphasized the strategic significance, stating, “The new Reveille Sentry for Microsoft Teams support builds upon Reveille's proven value—eliminating ECM monitoring manual tasks, reducing ECM operating risks, and lowering costs by connecting to existing IT Service Management (ITSM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA) systems. We are proud of today’s announcement and excited about sharing future innovations that will enhance content collaboration, security, and visibility for Microsoft 365-based solutions.”

Designed for comprehensive collaboration monitoring, Reveille Sentry for Microsoft Teams encapsulates chat and channel activity, updates to Teams channels and configurations, and content shared during Teams chats. This solution marries well into current trends in Microsoft 365 Application monitoring, content security, and the fast detection and containment of suspicious collaboration activities.

Customers can look forward to the availability of Reveille Sentry for Microsoft Teams from April 1, 2024. Details on its pricing structure will be announced at its general availability.
