Agile signs FibroLAN deal

Mon, 18th Oct 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Agile Integration has signed a distribution deal with FibroLAN, a manufacturer of Fibre Optic solutions for the Metro and short haul market.

Agile Networks supplies telecommunications solutions to the Carrier and Service Provider market.

“With the proliferation of new fibre deployments, Agile considers this to be an ideal time to introduce FibroLAN into the New Zealand market” said Phil Josephs Agile Business Development Manager. “FibroLAN bridges the gap between Ultra-high capacity fibre backbone systems and the end customer who requires a wide range of speeds and flexible interfaces to suit their local networks”

FibroLAN sees itself as an “ideal candidate” for the Rural Broadband Initiative.

“Agile is the market leader in enterprise VoIP and unified communications” said Tony Jane Agile’s CEO. "The company has decided to expand its capabilities and leverage the extensive experience and skills we have developed to make an aggressive move into the network solutions area with a focus on the carrier and service provider market.”
