Alipay+ teams with Windcave for ANZ mobile payments

Alipay+ has partnered with Windcave to enhance cross-border mobile payment solutions for merchants in Australia and New Zealand.

Alipay+, operated by Ant International, seeks to streamline mobile payments for more than 10,000 merchants in Australia and New Zealand by collaborating with Windcave, a New Zealand-based payment technology provider. This partnership will allow these merchants to connect with travellers from Asia and Europe by accepting payments from mobile payment methods across eight countries and regions.

Consumers using Windcave terminals with the Alipay+ logo can use their preferred digital wallet app. By scanning the QR code displayed on the terminal, consumers can quickly complete payments in their local currencies.

Several well-known companies have already integrated Alipay+'s payment solutions through Windcave, including The Warehouse Group, Foodstuffs (New World), Mecca Brands, the LagardèreAWPL Group, Skyline Enterprises, and AJ Hackett Bungy. These companies represent a diverse range of sectors, from retail to tourism, demonstrating the versatility and appeal of the Alipay+ solution in accommodating various business needs and enhancing customer experiences.
