Analytic Partners earns ISO 27001 certification, enhancing data security
Mon, 4th Mar 2024

Analytic Partners, company specialising in commercial analytics, has achieved ISO 27001 (ISO/IEC 27001) certification for its entire business portfolio. The certification extends to its commercial analytics platform, GPS Enterprise. This recent progress fortifies Analytic Partners' already acknowledged Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II certification, marking a significant step towards success for the company.

Peter Kutrubis, Head of Technology, Cybersecurity & Compliance at Analytic Partners, stated, "We are thrilled to have attained the ISO 27001 certification, which reflects our ongoing dedication to safeguarding the information assets of our customers and our organisation. This certification underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security and demonstrates our readiness to meet the evolving security challenges in today's digital landscape."

The ISO 27001 certificate is an internationally accepted yardstick, validated by a certified, independent third-party auditor. It acknowledges the measures that organisations implement regarding risk mitigation, data confidentiality, integrity, and availability, along with proactive response to information security threats.

In order to secure this accolade, Analytic Partners underwent a severe audit and assessment process carried out by an independent, ANAB-accredited audit firm. The aim was to fulfil the stringent requirements of the ISO 27001 standards that entail a holistic framework of policies, procedures, and controls that involve the trifecta of people, processes, and technology.

The benefits of obtaining ISO 27001 certification are manifold, including: secure handling and protection of sensitive data, enhanced trust and credibility among the fraternity of clients, partners, and stakeholders, structured approach to risk management and continual enhancement of security procedures and alignment with international best practices in terms of information security management.

Analytic Partners previously secured the SOC 2 Type II certification back in 2020. This exhaustive audit report covers the internal controls of Analytic Partners governing services and data. These controls, or Trust Services Principles, as defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), comprise security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

Maggie Merklin, Chief Client Officer, at Analytic Partners, said, "Achieving ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications is a testament to Analytic Partners' unwavering commitment to protecting data and upholding the highest information security standards. We can assure customers and prospects that Analytic Partners maintains industry-leading security practices. Our platform and deliverables do not need, use, collect, or store PII, but with these certifications, we proactively demonstrate our commitment to maintaining the security of our customers' data and intelligence assets."
