Thu, 24th Oct 2024

Appian has been ranked number one for the Complex Internal Applications Use Case in the Gartner Critical Capabilities report for Low-Code Application Platforms (LCAP).

The Gartner Critical Capabilities report for 2024 assessed 13 low-code platform vendors by performing an in-depth technical analysis and categorising their capabilities into various Use Cases. Appian achieved the highest score in the category of Complex Internal Applications and ranked second in External-Facing and Tactical Internal Applications Use Cases.

The evaluation consisted of weighing each vendor's offering across three critical capabilities pertinent to the Use Cases. These assessments serve to guide customers in identifying the most suitable platform for their specific business needs.

Appian was also recognised as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms report, bolstering its position in the industry.

Malcolm Ross, Senior Vice President of Product Strategy at Appian, commented on the achievement: "Appian focuses on orchestrating business processes to help our customers improve how they work. Our innovations in AI and integrated approach to process automation sets Appian apart from other low-code vendors."
