Asnet expands in South Island

Tue, 13th Oct 2009
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Effective this month, Asnet announced that it has acquired the assets and business of Christchurch-based IP Communications Limited.  The acquisition will allow Asnet Technologies to be more of a major player in the South Island market for a range of audio and video conferencing products and services. “This creates a positive advantage by helping to support Asnet's own customer base in the South Island, while continuing to support Asnet's own customer base in the South Island, while continuing to support existing customers previously serviced by the IP Communications team,” said Chris Stewart, GM and Director of Asnet Technologies. Richard Bishop has been appointed as Regional Manager for IP Communications. IP Communications are active in the sales and service of the LifeSize range of high definition video conferencing products, and the company will now be able to offer the complete product portfolio in the Polycom suite. Effective immediately, IP Communications Limited will trade as IP Communications.
