Asus launches Zenbook A14, lightest AI PC (less than 1kg)

ASUS has introduced the Zenbook A14 in Australia and New Zealand, a lightweight laptop designed with modern needs in mind.

The Zenbook A14 is billed as the world's lightest Copilot+ PC, weighing less than one kilogramme, and is powered by the Snapdragon X Series AI-enabled processor. It boasts a significant 70Wh battery capable of delivering up to 32 hours of battery life.

The Zenbook A14 offers features such as a Ceraluminum design that is described as more durable and lighter than standard materials, with testing to ensure scratch and shock resistance. The design is complemented by nature-inspired colours, Iceland Grey and Zabriskie Beige.

Security features on the Zenbook A14 include the Windows passkey login security and additional smart privacy functionalities like Adaptive Lock and Microsoft Pluton security chip.

The laptop's entertainment capabilities are highlighted by a Full HD OLED display and robust audio functionalities, including powerful speakers supported by Dolby Atmos. In terms of connectivity, it includes various ports like USB4, HDMI, and more to ensure versatile usage possibilities.

The launch also included other devices, specifically the Vivobook 14 and 16, described as bringing AI capabilities to a wider audience with a more affordable price point. These models also offer a performance upgrade with the Snapdragon X processor offering a 44% performance increasement over previous models.

ASUS's range, including the newly introduced Zenbook A14 and the Vivobook models, is available through major stores in Australia and New Zealand.
