Asustor ramps up its cloud backup service with IDrive integration
Asustor is integrating all of its NAS (network-attached storage) devices with IDrive's online cloud backup service.
The network storage company claims its new Asustor NAS devices provide users with a secure and comprehensive online backup solution that utilises IDrive's military grade AES 256-bit encryption. to help protect and manage files while syncing and sharing those files.
The enhanced devices' new features include an array of data backup and restoration functions, such as Asustor Backup Plan (ABP).
According to Asustor, ABP allows users to backup data from their computer to their NAS, initiate local backup to MyArchive disks, and integrate with many cloud backup services such as Amazon S3, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive.

IDrive, based in California, specialises in cloud storage, online backup and remote access solutions.
