Advisory and technology solutions provider Atturra has entered into a new strategic partnership with Pursuit Technology.

Pursuit Technology is one of Australia's fastest-growing HR technology companies and the incumbent LMS provider to more than 80% of federal government departments in Australia.

Atturra now becomes Pursuit Technology's first alliance partner within the local government market, further bolstering its position as a leading IT services provider for local government authorities and public sector organisations. It will apply its extensive experience in the provision of cloud and learning management solution to support the effective delivery and deployment in local government of Pursuit Technology's SaaS-based workforce solutions, including its Panorama workforce planning software and Acorn learning management system.

The local government sector has pressing workforce development issues due to its geographically dispersed operations and compliance related challenges which are subject to variations in state-by-state jurisdictions. At the same time, within local government there is diverse range of roles, responsibilities which makes a learning environment complex and diverse. The provision of professional development within local government supports the development of better local governance and leadership and addresses critical skills shortage issues.

Pursuit Technology's solutions allow council staff to access eLearning content anywhere, anytime on any device while its Acorn application allows HR staff to capture all learning activities of council staff and easily create courses by simply dragging and dropping content into a program. Atturra will partner with Pursuit Technology to provide cloud-based tailored training content and use the power of gamification for online courses to help keep staff engaged and motivated, helping boost retention, productivity, and performance.

"Both Atturra and Pursuit Technology have a solid footprint in the Australian and New Zealand government sector and this new partnership will now enable both organisations to service the requirements of local government agencies and councils as they continue to upgrade their HR and learning technology to improve recruitment, compete for talent and support retention efforts," says Graham Curley, Atturra's industry lead for state and local government.

"In our experience, local government managers and employees need to incorporate innovations into their daily routines, and the provision of learning resources helps councils to continue to evolve and meet the needs of community services," he says .

"We are looking forward to mutually successful outcomes for Atturra, Pursuit Technology and local government as the power of our combined solutions and services create positive impact for councils and their employees."

The partnership will see Pursuit Technology draw upon Atturra's experience and success with more thsn 100 local government councils to date, helping them enhance and simplify their business process to streamline operations. Atturra will also benefit from Pursuit Technology's extensive experience with state and federal government departments, which have maintained a 100% customer retention rate across 150 customers over seven years.

"It was immediately clear to me that Atturra's focus on helping customers shift to modern cloud-based platforms aligned with our value to the market," says Blake Proberts, Pursuit Technology co-founder and managing director.

"It's not just the shift to cloud-based HR applications, but the right ones," he says.

"Ones that deliver not just efficiencies but also enable the strategic performance of HR and L&D teams. We believe the winning blend of Atturra's depth and breadth of service expertise in conjunction with our award-winning platforms will deliver impactful solutions to the market."

Stephen Kowal, CEO, Atturra, adds, "We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with Pursuit Technology. Atturra values partnerships that take on the complexity of technology innovation and value the customer at the heart of its solutions.

"With the combined expertise, we look forward to building capability for customers that directly supports efficient HR and Learning services as they transition applications to cloud-based platforms," he says.

"We look forward to strengthening and developing the Pursuit partnership as its a perfect fit of expertise, customer focus and technology innovation."
