Avanade unveils AI services for Asia Pacific mid-markets

Today

Avanade has introduced seven new Microsoft-powered AI services to assist mid-market organisations in the Asia Pacific region in accelerating their growth.

Mid-market businesses in Asia Pacific are positioned to significantly benefit from AI; however, they often face challenges related to resource constraints and strategic implementation. Research conducted by Avanade reveals that 84% of mid-market business leaders in the region are concerned about losing their competitive edge without adopting AI. Additionally, 95% have accelerated legacy system modernisation due to AI advancements.

The new services launched by Avanade are aimed at addressing these challenges and enhancing organisations' capabilities to leverage AI. These services aim to boost sales productivity, modernise cloud and ERP systems, develop AI-driven applications, unify data for better insights, enhance security with advanced threat protection, and unlock value through Microsoft 365 Copilot.

The new AI services available to mid-market organisations in Asia Pacific include strategies to accelerate revenue generation by equipping sales teams with AI-powered sales tools, improving productivity and customer engagement. Another service offered focuses on AI-powered migration and modernisation, guiding organisations through their cloud migration journey to Microsoft Azure, optimising costs and preparing them for a sustainable, AI-ready digital core.

Additional services include building and modernising AI applications, enabling continuous improvement through scalable and flexible architectures, and addressing data silos and security challenges. The 'Drive Business Transformation with Copilot' service will help organisations unlock new sources of value through Microsoft 365 Copilot using responsible AI methods.

The suite also helps organisations modernise their ERP systems while reducing the total cost of ownership, thereby supporting business growth and adaptability. Unifying data and analytics platforms is another focus, designed to overcome legacy technology limitations and provide better data access and insights for employees.

The 'Unify Threat Protection' service aids organisations in handling fast-moving threats, combining Microsoft Threat Intelligence, Sentinel SIEM, EDR, and Security Copilot to enhance analysis and productivity.

Bhavya Kapoor, Avanade's President for Asia Pacific, commented, "Asia Pacific is home to a deep pool of mid-market organisations. They are on the cusp of transformation, eager to take advantage of Microsoft technologies like cloud, data and AI to drive growth, and are pillars of this region's fast-moving digital economy. As the dedicated technology partner that is 100% focused on the Microsoft ecosystem, we are jointly committed with Microsoft to empower these organisations and make a genuine human impact through the services we offer – helping them unleash their potential to propel Asia Pacific's economic growth, develop local capabilities, and stimulate innovation."

Rachel Bondi, Corporate Vice President, Small, Medium and Corporate, Microsoft Asia, said, "The mid-market sector forms the backbone of Asia Pacific's diverse, fast-growing economies – crucial for driving innovation, spurring economic expansion, and fuelling jobs creation. We know these businesses are turning to transformative technologies like AI and Microsoft Copilot to move into their next phase of growth but are faced with their unique set of challenges – and we want to help. This is why our partnership with Avanade is important as we jointly help more mid-market customers in this region adopt AI-powered solutions, at speed and scale, to create competitive business advantages – whilst ensuring Asia Pacific remains at the forefront of innovation and growth in the global economy."
