FYI, this story is more than a year old

BRISBANE – November 16, 2010: Blackmores Ltd., Australia’s most trusted name in natural health, and Sitecore, the leading provider of .NET Web Content Management System (CMS) software will present on the benefits of website personalisation and online community during Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2010 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Blackmores has created a branded social network that provides consumers with a uniquely individual online experience where members can set personal health goals, join communities of interest, get involved in discussions, learn from others and build resources (bookmarks, groups, favourite products).

Using Sitecore’s CMS, including Sitecore Online Marketing Suite (OMS), Blackmores was able to use the stand out personalisation features to service different customer segments and provide relevant and engaging online experiences tailored to fit the interests and browsing behaviour of members. As a result of these strategies, Blackmores has been able to increase the engagement with its membership base of more than 304,000 people; Australia’s largest natural health and wellbeing community. Blackmores also uses Sitecore’s OMS analytics data to drive email personalisation.
