Blackpearl Group appoints New Independent Director

In an announcement made today, Black Pearl Group Limited (BPG) revealed the appointment of Hugo Fisher as an Independent Director, alongside Cherryl Pressley's transition to Executive Director and Chief Revenue Officer.

Hugo Fisher, with a wealth of over 25 years in local and international financial markets, will add a substantial depth to BPG's board. His extensive network that spans across kiwi saver providers, institutional investors, US mutual funds, multi-strategy hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital investors will certainly fortify the group's financial stronghold. A graduate from the University of Otago, Fisher holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), a Bachelor of Arts, and a Post Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia (SIA).

Simultaneously, the experienced Cherryl Pressley will be assuming the role of Chief Revenue Officer. With a combined 17 years of experience in leading roles at tech giants like Microsoft and Google, Pressley's appointment aims to bolster the revenue growth and strategic partnerships at BPG. Pressley states, "I couldn't be more excited to transition from Independent Board member for Black Pearl Group Limited to Chief Revenue Officer. In addition to continuing to grow our strong direct sales, I will be focused on igniting partnerships.
