Businesses demand social media boost

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Business software vendor Info has announced 42% local growth in the public sector market and reported increased demand for more social media engagement in applications.

Infor says that public sector organisations are demanding software that enables more staff mobility, online customer self-service and social media applications.

In light of this Infor has announced a three year product roadmap for its key public sector software offerings, Pathway and Hansen.

James Brackenrig, Infor Vice President and Managing Director ANZ said, “Our product direction aligns with our customer needs, because it is guided by them locally.  The fundamental difference between Infor and other vendors is that we have multiple solutions for different verticals all of which enjoy a long term evolution strategy, rather than a one size fits all product that requires costly and lengthy customisation." Infor says it currently works with more than 130 public sector customers in ANZ including large and medium organisations.

Brackenrig continued, “The public sector market is a key focus for Infor in Australia and New Zealand and our growth last year is evidence that Infor’s product strength and quality of our professional services organisation is really resonating.”

Infor recently acquired Bridgelogix. You can read the full story here.
