CA chooses Fujitsu's Cloud
Mon, 24th Jan 2011
FYI, this story is more than a year old

According to Fujitsu Australia & New Zealand, the company’s data center services in Australia will provide IaaS as the underlying platform for the CA Clarity PPM On Demand suite to mirror the systems and service expectations of its environment in the United States.  Brenton Smith, Vice President and Area Manager, CA Technologies, Australia & New Zealand, said, “Having realised successes globally for our CA Clarity PPM On Demand product, we felt it was important to offer our customers the same, local hosting options through a trusted partner. Fujitsu has filled this role and I’m confident that our local customer-base will benefit directly from this move.” CA will take up Fujitsu’s IaaS as an ‘out of the box’ configuration with inbuilt data and system replication across two of Fujitsu’s Tier III data centers.

The platform will also support the trialling of software and systems offered by CA Technologies to its prospective clients.

Rod Vawdrey, Chief Executive Officer, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, added, “By investing in industrial scale infrastructure, Fujitsu can provide levels of security and availability which are a bridge too far for all but the very largest enterprises.”
