Natural curiosity entices many people to wonder, “Who’s been viewing my profile?” each day on LinkedIn - now IT professionals have answers.

That's the line coming out of LinkedIn Towers, where the networking site is rolling out a new version for "Who's Viewed Your Profile."

Designed to make it easier for working professionals, the site says the new simplified look allows users to "get a snapshot of who, what, and how you are being discovered on LinkedIn."

"Who’s Viewed Your Profile is more than just a look at who is viewing you," says Udi Milo, LinkedIn.

"Who’s Viewed Your Profile can also give you insights on: How often your profile has been viewed and what connections or groups you have in common with them."

While the service is free to all users, premium members will have access to insights from the previous 90 days.

Milo says this will "help you learn more about how professionals are finding you through top search keywords and which industries or geographies those searches come from."

Other new features include the ability to filter search results by weeks, allowing users to identify key trends and changes in what LinkedIn describes as "enabling you to align your professional brand with your professional goals."

Set to affect over 225 million users, upgrades are available immediately to all users.
