Check Point, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, has announced two new hires for their New Zealand team. Regan Burke has joined as the Channel Account Manager, while Steve Wotten will be serving as the Major Account Manager.

In a statement released by Check Point's Country Manager, Mark Baker, he expressed his excitement for the new additions to the team. "Jointly they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our clients and business partners," said Baker.

Baker highlighted Burke's experience in vendor management and knowledge of what it takes to be successful as a partner in security. "He is easy to engage and converse with, so reach out to him if you need assistance, he is eager to get stuck in," added Baker.

On the other hand, Steve Wotten's experience spans from Client to Business Partner, and he has held significant senior roles in the past, making and executing strategic technology decisions. Baker expressed his excitement about Wotten's professionalism and the level of service he will provide to clients.

The addition of Burke and Wotten to Check Point's New Zealand team reinforces the company's strong dedication and focus to be a 100% channel driven vendor in the country.

"We are excited to welcome both Regan and Steve to the local team and look forward to their contributions in driving the success of our local partner community and providing the right solutions to our clients," said Baker.

The move by Check Point comes as cybersecurity becomes increasingly critical for businesses and individuals alike. With the rise of remote work and online transactions, the need for robust cybersecurity solutions has never been greater.
