FYI, this story is more than a year old

Following what it calls "strong growth" in Auckland, the New Zealand-owned IT company opens up in Wellington.

Matt Price (pictured) has taken up the newly created position of Wellington Regional Manager, responsible for developing new business in the region. Price joins CodeBlue after returning to New Zealand following three years as Client Director for Singtel Optus in Australia. His CV also lists HP, Unisys, and IBM.

CodeBlue’s Managing Director Ken Davis said, “In recessionary times, our ability to reduce overall IT costs while improving infrastructure performance and reliability has resulted in strong new business demand. We anticipate a similar response in Wellington where we see good opportunities in the sub-500 seat business market.”

Price believes that competition between IT service providers in the mid-sized market in Wellington can be better served by CodeBlue’s entry.

“CodeBlue’s appeal is its capability to give mid-sized organisations the same quality of service that large organisations expect,” Price said.  “CodeBlue has a proven track record of doing this.”
