US software giant Oracle has confirmed the appointment of ex-HP Chief Executive Mark Hurd as the company's new Co-President.
The New York Times is reporting that Hurd will join Oracle as President and as a Director.
"Mark did a brilliant job at HP and I expect he'll do even better at Oracle," Oracle CEO Larry Ellison said. “There is no executive in the IT world with more relevant experience than Mark."
Hurd (pictured) resigned last month after an investigation into a sexual harassment claim found he submitted inaccurate expense reports.
