FYI, this story is more than a year old

Datacraft will supply the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) with its telecommunications services for the next three years.

In the announcement today, Datacraft claim it's a milestone agreement for the company and its largest contract since being awarded the one.govt telecommunications networking contract in 2009. The contract is worth more than $2 million and the company will partner with FX Networks and Vodafone to deliver the services.

“Securing this contract is recognition that Datacraft is a top notch provider of end-to-end telecommunications solutions,” says Robin Hartendorp, managing director of Datacraft New Zealand. “The win also illustrates that Datacraft can facilitate industry collaboration for the benefit of the end user. We are now well on our journey to providing Communications as a Service (CaaS)."

Datacraft will provide NZTE with a high bandwidth WAN solution, mobile services, 0800 services, a direct dial interface solution, unified communications and enterprise telephone infrastructure. These solutions will be back by Datacraft’s support and management service Insite and Uptime. NZTE will be provided with their own web portal that offers access to real time information about their telecommunications environment.
