The dataglobal Group has unveiled the latest iteration of its document management system, windream V9, which integrates artificial intelligence to enhance work efficiency in digital workplaces.

windream 9 is intended to improve efficiency, user-friendliness, and offers technical advancements through AI support. It serves as a central component of dataglobal's Data City approach, aiming to create a flexible and efficient working environment that connects all work locations seamlessly. This initiative aligns with digital transformation efforts to make processes smarter, more secure, and intuitive.

The integration of artificial intelligence in windream V9 allows for automatically generated document summaries, which can be invaluable for quick information dissemination, such as management briefings. Users can engage in chat-based interactions to query document contents or request translations, thereby significantly streamlining document-related tasks.

windream 9 introduces a Dynamic Workspace that promises a modern user experience with a user-friendly and configurable interface across all devices. The system features intuitive navigation and enhanced personalisation options, including a favourites function for expedited document access. It also enhances collaboration by enabling chat functionalities for folders and files and offers new email sending options with template choices.

The DMS's performance and security have been bolstered by the implementation of VFS-X technology, which facilitates document handling on shared drives in a manner akin to typical network drives under Windows. This approach aids users by maintaining a familiar work environment, thereby boosting productivity and simplifying the integration of ECM functions into everyday workflows. windream 9 now also incorporates Microsoft Entra ID for secure user authentication.
