Deloitte boosts AI offerings with Google Cloud alliance
Deloitte has expanded its alliances with Google Cloud and ServiceNow to provide clients with enhanced agentic AI capabilities, introducing a new suite of more than 100 AI agents designed for various industries and functions.
The newly introduced agents are powered by Google's Gemini models and Agentspace, aimed at transforming customer interactions and improving employee experiences. The expansion is facilitated through a collaboration with Google Cloud's open interoperability protocol, Agent2Agent (A2A), which intends to enable seamless communication among different platforms and services.
"Clients are getting flooded with information about agents, and while they are interested, they often don't know where to begin. That's where we come in," said Jason Salzetti, Chair and CEO of Deloitte Consulting. "This is our largest investment yet with Google Cloud, to provide a clear, structured path for businesses to adopt and scale agentic AI. With collaborations like Google Cloud and ServiceNow, we aim to be a one-stop-shop for clients to reimagine their operations, driving innovation and enhancing productivity across their entire enterprise platforms."
Deloitte's AI agents cater to a broad range of activities, crossing multiple sectors and functions including customer service, procurement, marketing, sales, legal, and human resources. Industry-specific applications cover areas such as health care, consumer, financial services, and public services. Deloitte anticipates that these solutions could lead to over 30% productivity improvements depending on the application.
Examples of their key applications include "Contract Redlining", which aids enterprise clients in understanding and optimising legal contracts, and "Credit Loan Automation" for financial services clients to streamline document processing with curated data. Additionally, agents designed for data transformation assist in automating technical tasks, such as producing optimised BigQuery code.
Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Partner Organization at Google Cloud, commented on the integration of Agentspace, stating, "Google Agentspace allows employees and agents to easily find and explore information from across their organizations, enabling Google-quality search no matter where data is hosted. Through our collaboration with Deloitte, we can bring customers turnkey solutions that use Agentspace and other AI technology to enhance everyday work across nearly every industry— and will make agents available for quick deployment through Google Cloud Marketplace."
Interoperability among AI agents is increasingly critical to meeting evolving business needs. In this regard, Deloitte's work with Google Cloud and ServiceNow on the A2A protocol aims to ensure secure and effective collaboration among AI systems across different platforms.
"As enterprises embrace the power of AI agents to streamline work and drive productivity, a critical challenge remains: interoperability," said Amit Zavery, President, Chief Product Officer and Chief Operating Officer at ServiceNow. "Most agentic platforms today operate in silos— built for specialized tasks, confined to one system and unable to collaborate across platforms. At ServiceNow, we are committed to openness and delivering enterprise-wide, AI agent-driven automation solutions. By Deloitte, ServiceNow and Google Cloud coming together, we are uniquely positioned to help teams of AI agents work across platforms to unlock the full potential of agentic AI."
Demonstrating the practical use of A2A, Deloitte and ServiceNow have developed a unified agentic experience for field management. AI agents under this initiative can now effectively manage customer queries by integrating data across various platforms including CRM and logistics systems.
This collaboration is part of a broader strategy to enhance operational transformation in various organisations, supported by Deloitte's ongoing relationship with Google Cloud. This includes leveraging Agentspace for internal operations and deploying advanced research capabilities through innovation teams.
Deloitte's collaboration with ServiceNow, a 12-year ongoing relationship, continues to deliver automation solutions designed to create business value. Deloitte has also been recognised with several Google Cloud Partner of the Year awards for its contributions in AI, security, and industry solutions.
