Wed, 12th Apr 2023
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Dicker Data will distribute the extensive range of Philips business series monitors in the New Zealand market after its new distribution partnership with the company was announced.

“We are excited to welcome Philips Monitors as the newest addition  to the ever-expanding Dicker Data NZ family. As the trend towards hybrid working continues to surge, there has been a  significant increase in demand for business monitors over the past few years,” says Justin Tye, General Manager, Dicker Data NZ.

“Our appointment as a distributor of  Philips Monitors means that our partners now have access to yet another exceptional option in this category, in line  with our objective of providing our partners with the best technology choices available.”

“The extensive range of Philips Monitors, along with their innovative solutions, will further enhance our display offerings, encompassing products  designed for curved displays, gaming, interactive use, and everyday applications.”

With business monitor solutions that work for SMBs, enterprises, governments and even graphic designers, Philips Monitors offer something for all market segments.

The Philips range and brand appeals to all types of users looking for innovative solutions such as built-in full docking station capabilities, pop-up web cameras, and blue-light reduction technology.

“The requirement for businesses to furnish their employees with monitor solutions that cater to both in-office and  remote work settings is growing. In light of the significant amount of time that we spend using these monitors, it is crucial that they are designed with ergonomics and health as the primary considerations, particularly high-quality monitors,” added Tye.

Another aspect of Philips’s brand that is appealing to customers is its strong focus on sustainability with strong energy efficiency ratings, 100% recyclable packaging and total cost of ownership (TCO) calculators available for its partners.

“We are excited to announce the addition of Dicker  Data as our distribution partner in 2023. With ongoing demand for innovative business monitor solutions and Dicker  Data’s commitment to servicing the SMB and Corporate sectors, we look forward to working with the Dicker team to  further extend our support to reseller partners across the New Zealand IT market,” says Ian Marshall, Director, Philips Monitors New Zealand.

Dicker Data’s distribution partnership with Philips Monitors will commence midway through April 2023. The Philips Monitors product range is open to all IT reseller partners.

This news comes after Dicker Data recently announced that it is now an authorised distributor for the Microsoft Surface Hub 2S range in New Zealand. The new agreement grants Dicker Data access to distribute the full range of Microsoft’s 50-inch and 85-inch devices and accessories.
