Digital Island announces AWS Service Delivery designation for Amazon Connect

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Digital Island (part of Spark Business Group) has announced that it has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Delivery designation for Amazon Connect.

The achievement recognises that Digital Island follows best practices and has proven success in delivering AWS services to end customers.

Achieving the AWS Service Delivery designation differentiates Digital Island as an AWS Partner. They can provide specialised demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success in delivering Amazon Connect, along with an easy-to-use omnichannel cloud contact centre service offering.

In order to receive the designation, AWS Partners must possess deep AWS experience and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.

“Digital Island is proud to receive the Amazon Connect designation for AWS Service Delivery,” says Leon Sheehan, CEO.

“We are a passionate team supporting New Zealand companies to achieve their technology aspirations, through the cloud services that AWS provides.”

Digital Island says that AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective cloud solutions for organisations of all sizes, from startups to global enterprises.

To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Service Delivery Program to help customers identify AWS Consulting Partners with deep experience in delivering specific AWS services.

Digital Island says one of its key integrations was the bespoke deployment of Amazon Connect for its customer Reach Aotearoa – which partnered with Digital Island to stand up a national COVID case investigation service within seven days.

Neil Tee, GM, Reach, says that the technology allowed them to provide dedicated and efficient services during the height of the pandemic in New Zealand.

“Enabled by sophisticated communication systems, our 1500 call agents were a critical part of New Zealand’s pandemic response, supporting the wellbeing of more than one million New Zealanders,” he says.

Spark Business Group is a collective of digital specialists who say they intend to unravel the complexities of business challenges and deliver future-proof solutions with real results.

They focus on aspects such as connectivity, digital infrastructure and the latest in business hardware, as well as cloud computing, customer experience (CX) optimisation, and data science.

Last month at the Partner Awards Gala during re:Invent 2022, the company announced it was a recipient of a 2022 Regional and Global AWS Partner Award. This award recognised leaders around the globe playing a pivotal role in helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on Amazon Web Services. The award recognised the outcomes for the customers of Spark Business Group and its subsidiaries CCL and Leaven.
