IT services company DXC Technology has rolled out a cloud technologies guild training and enablement programme for its entire workforce across Australia and New Zealand, as well as the wider APAC region.
Almost 10,000 DXC employees can train to become certified across multi-cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, Microsoft, and VMware.
DXC Technology hopes that the programme will provide employees with the skills they need to take advantage of cloud technologies. Training will emphasise a culture of innovation and equip employees with a broad understanding of cloud technologies, enabling them to partner with clients in the design, deployment and operation of applications on cloud platforms.
DXC Technology Australia and New Zealand managing director Seelan Nayagam says that any employee can learn new skills and certifications, regardless of their role at the company.

The program will be delivered online by certified instructors, with employees accessing training in areas such as cloud architecture, security and operations.

VMware ANZ acting managing director Kerrie-Anne Turner adds that businesses must equip their staff with skills that help them to adapt to ‘the new normal'.

Employees will complete their training before the end of December, in locations across Australia, New Zealand, India, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.
