FYI, this story is more than a year old

Microsoft has released the beta version of its next-gen product for cloud-based and on-premise deployments.

The beta marks the worldwide rollout of the Dynamics CRM Online service from Microsoft’s global data centers. It will be released to customers and hosting partners for on-premises deployment as Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.

The beta is available in eight languages and 36 markets. The final version will be available by the end of the year in 40 markets and 41 languages.

“Microsoft Dynamics CRM has tremendous momentum around the world, and we’re glad to bring an exciting new wave of technology to our customers and partners,” says Stewart Gibbs, General Manager Microsoft Business Solutions for Microsoft New Zealand. “Our new beta release for cloud-based and on-premises deployments allows customers and partners to try the product and see the benefits from the investments that we’ve been making.”

Microsoft also announced that the Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace will enter beta later this month.
