Dynamo6 becomes first NZ firm to earn Google Cloud SMB Specialization
Technology firm Dynamo6 has been awarded the prestigious Google Cloud Work Transformation - SMB Specialization, becoming the first New Zealand-based company to achieve such a status.
Presented by Google Cloud on January 18, 2024, the Specialization acknowledges Dynamo6's unrivalled technical proficiency and substantiated history of customer success in carrying out Google Workspace migrations and deployments.
As one of the highest level of achievement in the Google Cloud Partner Program, the Work Transformation - SMB Specialization, testifies to Dynamo6's steadfast dedication to excellence, the company states. This comes after a stringent auditing process, initiated several months ago, and corroborates Dynamo6's technological capabilities and successful track record with customers over the prior two years.
Korrin Balmain, Client and Partner Director at Dynamo6, expressed immense pride in this achievement. Balmain said, "Since joining the Dynamo6 team, I've been pushing for us to showcase more of our specialized skills and work more closely with the Google Cloud team."
He said, "This Work Transformation Specialization is a massive step towards that and overall it demonstrates the amazing skills of our cloud engineering, project and change management people."
The awarding of this Specialization required a thorough auditing process. This included a stringent review of the project delivery plans, technical implementation of projects undertaken by the firm in the past two years, and an assessment of the technical prowess of the company's team.
Balmain continued, "As the Google Cloud partner lead for the company, it's amazing to have achieved the highest possible status. It highlights the overall value and successful outcomes that Dynamo6 provides as an integration partner for organisations looking to make big changes to the way their organisation collaborates and communicates."
Recent project examples include a Google Workspace migration and ongoing support for the Tuvalu Government's digitisation initiatives via the Ministry of Justice, Communications and Foreign Affairs, and a significant migration to Google Workspace for a large New Zealand health provider.
Since becoming a Google Cloud partner in 2018, Dynamo6 has offered significant Google Cloud engineering and digital transformation services to a plethora of private and public sector organisations, including the likes of Orion Health, Xero, The University of Auckland, and Callaghan Innovation, the company states.
Dynamo6 states it is 'a fresh-thinking technology company'. With a blend of IT services cloud, cybersecurity, modern workplace, digital experience and software development the organisation is focused on empowering businesses across industries to innovate in the digital world.
