Easy Crypto appoints ONZM Mitchell Pham to its Board
Easy Crypto, the leading cryptocurrency platform in New Zealand, has announced the addition of Khoa Dang (Mitchell) Pham to its board. Mitchell, an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM), is well known for his efforts in the technology sector and New Zealand-Asia relations.
Co-founder and CEO of Easy Crypto, Janine Grainger, highlights the strategic timing of Mitchell's appointment, stating, "Mitchell was an obvious choice for Easy Crypto as we continue our rapid expansion globally. His deep experience in international operations and strategy development, for scalability, growth and expansion coupled with an ability to ensure company performance remains in step with organisation purpose is something we have long admired."
Easy Crypto, founded in 2018, aims for an inclusive approach to cryptocurrency through its vision of 'Crypto for Humans.' Grainger explains, "Our effort is focused on a user-centred approach that simplifies all aspects of the crypto experience and accelerates its adoption for everyone." Grainger, a contender for the IBM Most Inspiring Individual Award at the Hi-tech Awards 2023, is celebrated for her work in fostering a secure, accessible crypto environment for global consumers. Easy Crypto is also nominated for the Kiwibank Hi-Tech Innovative Services Award.
In response to his appointment, Mitchell commends Easy Crypto's mission: "I was hugely impressed by the team's relentless focus on making crypto more accessible, and the future of finance more equitable. Not only that - but this is a vision Easy Crypto is delivering on."
Easy Crypto has offices in New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa, having transacted over NZD $2.2 billion in total sales to date. The team has gained consistent acclaim for its commitment to customer support, education, and transparency, reflected by its 4.7 rating from Trustpilot.
