Eclypses launches Secure MTE data protection on AWS Marketplace

Eclypses has announced that its Secure MTE (MicroToken Exchange) data protection technology is now available in the AWS Marketplace.

The AWS Marketplace is a digital catalogue comprising numerous software listings from independent vendors, facilitating the discovery, testing, purchase, and deployment of software on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This integration allows AWS customers to enhance their data security with Eclypses Secure MTE, now validated under Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-3.

David Gomes, CEO of Eclypses, underscored the importance of robust data security in an evolving risk environment. "Securing your data is at the core of keeping a business’ promise to its customers. The Secure MTE solution aims to innovate data protection by converting data into uniquely keyed and encrypted packets. According to Eclypses, even if these packets are hacked, they cannot be decoded. The technology is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing IT environments without the need for extensive training or development.

Secure MTE is constructed not merely as a stand-alone product but as an encompassing data security solution. The integration with AWS Marketplace provides companies a hassle-free adoption of MTE without significant changes to their operational framework.

Benefits cited for customers leveraging the Eclypses solution include a fast implementation process, sometimes under an hour, minimal client-side code changes, and no server-side alterations. This streamlined approach is designed to transcend traditional security measures such as TLS and SSL by encrypting application data directly at the source.
