Employment Hero acquires Humi for over CAD $100 million

Employment Hero has announced its acquisition of the Canadian employment platform Humi in a deal valued at over CAD $100 million, marking a significant move in its global expansion strategy.

The acquisition is one of the largest recent transactions in the Canadian technology sector and will enable Employment Hero to expand its operations into Canada, a market with over one million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The company currently provides services to over 2 million employees and 300,000 SMEs around the world.

The combined expertise of both companies will offer a localised solution for Canadian businesses by integrating Employment Hero's Employment Operating System (eOS) with Humi's market insights. This collaboration aims to provide an all-in-one platform supporting payroll, HR, and benefits tailored to the needs of Canadian businesses.

With this expansion, Employment Hero and Humi plan to double the number of SMEs benefiting from their platform in the near future. The companies are aligning their efforts to lead the employment management solutions sector in Canada as they support local business growth and improve productivity.
