espresso Displays selects Oracle for ERP transformation

Tue, 28th Jan 2025

espresso Displays, an Australian technology company, has selected Oracle NetSuite as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to enhance its operational capabilities.

The selection of Oracle NetSuite comes as espresso Displays aims to replace its existing spreadsheet-based processes. Utilising the cloud-based business suite, the company seeks to streamline operations across engineering, supply chain management, production, and financial sectors to facilitate its ongoing global expansion.

Founded in 2019 in Sydney, espresso Displays focuses on developing portable display technology tailored to meet the dynamic needs of modern work environments. The company's decision to engage Oracle NetSuite is motivated by an increasing demand for its products and its desire to establish a robust operational foundation to support its growth in international markets, particularly in the USA, UK, and Europe.

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Gary Caldarola explained the decision, noting, "Demand for our technology has skyrocketed and as we expanded globally, our business processes struggled to keep up and created a lot of additional work for our employees. With NetSuite, we have been able to improve the speed and accuracy of operations and enable our people to spend more time on value-added tasks. Our decision to select NetSuite underscores our dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions for the evolving needs of our customers."

The implementation of NetSuite is expected to allow espresso Displays to consolidate workflows and automate key operations. The financial management capabilities of NetSuite are essential for automating finance processes across various currencies and tax regimes, thereby providing real-time insights integral for strategic decision-making. Additionally, the supply chain management component is set to enhance the company's ability to efficiently manage its engineering processes, including planning, cost management, and inventory tracking.

Scott Wiltshire, Vice President and General Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Oracle NetSuite, commented on the partnership, stating, "Innovative Australian companies quickly outgrow spreadsheets and require more efficient and automated processes as they expand into new markets. With NetSuite, espresso Displays can optimise finance and supply chain processes, improve collaboration and productivity across its growing operations, and continue to drive toward its ambitious growth goals."
