Euromonitor International has launched the next generation of its Passport market intelligence platform, adding Passport Connect to extend its research into AI assistants and enterprise systems.

The rollout will begin with a phased client transition and structured onboarding. The redesigned platform introduces natural-language discovery, unified search and AI-generated summaries, alongside tools intended to connect Euromonitor's market intelligence with customers' internal data and workflows.

Passport is Euromonitor's main platform for delivering research across markets, consumers, companies and economies. The new version is designed around how organisations find and use information, allowing users to ask questions in natural language within the platform.

A central element of the release is Passport Connect, which allows teams to access Euromonitor's research in Microsoft Copilot and other supported AI assistants through MCP. APIs and other integrations can also feed data and analysis into dashboards, internal applications and wider business systems.

The changes reflect a broader shift in how companies want to consume information, as market research groups adapt their products for use inside AI tools rather than only through standalone portals. For Euromonitor, the move also puts greater emphasis on embedding its datasets and analysis in day-to-day decision-making systems.

Tim Kitchin, Chief Executive Officer, Euromonitor International, said: "In an environment where decisions are increasingly shaped by AI, organisations need intelligence they can trust and access wherever work happens. The next generation of Passport builds on more than 50 years of independent research and expert analysis, giving teams a faster, more connected way to understand change, identify opportunities and make confident decisions."

The platform links intelligence across industry, channel, economic and consumer signals in one place. AI-generated summaries are intended to help users reach relevant findings more quickly, while the underlying research remains available in full.

Broader push

Euromonitor operates in a market where business information providers are increasingly adding generative AI features to long-established subscription products. In that context, the Passport update combines interface changes inside the platform with a distribution strategy that places the same content in external software environments.

That approach could matter for clients seeking to combine third-party market intelligence with internal sales, customer or operational data. By making its research accessible through APIs and integrations, Euromonitor is positioning Passport as both a destination for analysts and a data source for wider business processes.

Chris Fosberry, Chief Technology Officer, Euromonitor International, said: "Passport Connect makes Euromonitor's market intelligence accessible within the tools organisations are already familiar with. By enabling clients to connect our trusted data with their own business information, this new feature creates more relevant intelligence, helping teams move more quickly and confidently from question to decision."

Euromonitor has more than 50 years of research history, specialist teams in 16 offices and analysts in more than 100 countries. It researches 210 countries and jurisdictions, with coverage reaching 99.9% of the world's consumers, according to the company.

The Passport update brings that material into AI assistants, enterprise systems and workflows through a combination of natural-language search, summaries, APIs and Passport Connect.
