Fivetran sees 40% growth in AWS Marketplace demand

Fri, 6th Dec 2024

Fivetran has reported a 40% increase in year-over-year growth within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, which is driven by the rising demand in enterprises for artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics.

The company supports over 600 customers using AWS, providing scalable data preparation solutions across various industries. According to the announcement, Fivetran's Managed Data Lake Service is a key component of its AWS offerings, simplifying data integration and accelerating AI and analytics initiatives while managing the underlying infrastructure complexities.

George Fraser, Chief Executive Officer of Fivetran, stated, "Our work with AWS empowers enterprises to unlock the full potential of their data without the burden of infrastructure management. With Fivetran's Managed Data Lake Service, organisations can scale AI and analytics by seamlessly automating raw data into actionable insights, all standardised in open table formats for easy access and interoperability. By keeping data up-to-date and reliable, Fivetran enables teams to focus on innovation, turning data into a strategic asset that drives growth and advantage."

The Managed Data Lake Service provided by Fivetran automates the conversion of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into formats such as Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg as it moves into Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) data lakes. This service includes automation of table maintenance, integration with catalogues such as AWS Glue, and covers computation costs associated with data ingestion, effectively reducing resource requirements and prioritising AI and machine learning projects over manual data preparation tasks.

Tinuiti, identified as the largest independent performance marketing company in the United States, utilises Fivetran's Managed Data Lake Service on AWS to bolster its data-driven marketing strategies. This service provides Tinuiti with secure and streamlined access to high-quality, compliant data, allowing them to bypass the intricacies of infrastructure management and dedicate their data teams' focus to crafting personalised marketing campaigns for their clients.

Lakshmi Ramesh, Vice President of Data Services at Tinuiti, commented, "Fivetran's Managed Data Lake Service on AWS has streamlined our processes, giving us the flexibility to act on insights faster and more effectively. With Fivetran, our teams can leverage advanced analytical models to deliver impactful, personalised experiences for clients. This allows us to concentrate on strategic innovation that truly drives business results."

Fivetran's success is further underscored by its ranking among the top 100 AWS Marketplace Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners, reflecting enterprise demand and the strong value it delivers through its seamless data movement solutions. This achievement marks an important growth milestone for the company, showcasing how Fivetran supports customers in advancing their analytics and AI strategies.
