Free calls for 2degrees Christchurch customers
2degrees is giving its affected Christchurch customers 30 minutes of free calling to any standard landline or mobile in New Zealand.
Chief Executive Eric Hertz said that the free minutes were added to customers’ accounts this morning.
"Getting around Christchurch can be difficult right now, but keeping in touch doesn’t have to be. We’re looking forward to doing more for our Christchurch customers and this is just a start.”
Customers who have made a phone call on their 2degrees mobile in Christchurch since February 22 have automatically been given this credit and can use their 30 free minutes any time over the next 14 days.
One week after the Christchurch earthquake, 2degrees said that its Christchurch network was back up and running.
